My last post was published over 6 months ago on July 14, 2014. It was not an easy decision to put away my computer and take a blogging hiatus, but a necessary one for a few important reasons.
I needed to put non-writing priorities first.
{Guest Series} I didn’t know what to expect during my mission trip to Alaska. I’ve been on two mission trips before to Haiti where I completely fell in love with serving the orphan, the widow, the desolate…the VOICELESS, where God is so big and so present and so precious that it is undeniable that every breath taken, every meal eaten, every hug given, every song sang, every spirit filled is SOLELY given by God. The Mighty, Sovereign God.
Twenty-two years ago, I didn’t have a clue how to say yes. For me, life was all about maintaining a well-organized home, driving a new minivan, enjoying the perks of being a stay-at-home mom, vacationing to beautiful places, and trying my best to make my children happy all. of. the. time.
I’ve always wanted to create a bucket list. I don’t have one, but my hubby does. For years, I’ve heard him say he wanted to play golf at Pebble Beach and then he could go on to the great golf course in the sky. Tomorrow, I get to join him on a business-fundraiser- bucket-list trip to Pebble Beach located on beautiful Monterey Peninsula.
